Fun-ce-dents

Incident 1:
In my apartment complex...next to my 800 parking slot,is a shiny new toyota ...it belongs to a family upstairs...i am not introduced to them yet..but clearly they were parking there 2nd car in my slot untill after i moved in and requested twice to empty the slot...
I think i rubbed them the wrong way...clearly - they thought they should be using it as long as they want to..cleary they thought i should not claim the right unless they are willing to give up...thats why the lady of the house doesnt bother to show any courtsey...
Today, when i came down to my car... i saw her instructing the servent to clean up the Toyota...i bothered to smile..say hi..she bothered to ignore me... well thats what world is made of..

Incident 2:
I got a call at 7 in the evening on the intercom...some lady asking something:
Lady(with urgency in voice): is parth there?
Me : Nopes i think you got wrong flat..
Lady: Is it parth's mom?
Me : No (duh!!!)this is not parth's house..
Lady : do you know parths flat number?
Me : ah!! Well yes maam, pls wait a minute i will check the list and let you know... well i said none of it..just.. sorry i dont..

Incident 3 :
The Bldg Committee meetings are the fun at best...first we have issues...second we have oldies with all the time in world...third.,..thats the only place for Men to make themselves heard..
My DH attended one such meeting reluctantly ..at the park infront of my bldg....something urgent at 8.30 in nite.sunday eve while we were just about to step out for dinner. ..i waited till 9.30 for him to come back then reminded DH of dinner...well he came back and told me that it was nothing but general issues...its just that 2 of the lot were lawyers...and 4 were retirees...!!! only one thing comes in mind -A Committee is a life form with six or more legs and no brain.. !!!!

Living in an apartment complex has opened a whole new arena for me to be the observer. I see kids playing ..parents..using there parenting skills 'on' the ground...people using there social skills to show who's of higher breed...by comparing each other's nests...money...car's and what not...
I am loving it!!!
