I have a trip planned to US and we decide to get everything checked there.. well..we consult Doc 3 - who is an RE and Best doctor i have ever met..not just the knowledge and experience but he still had his human touch after 30 yrs in medicine...
First thing he orders is a complete hormonal assay and progestrone levels on day 2 & 21 of the cycle.. which come out totally normal.
He is concerned about the findings and wants to verify this diagnosis after Laproscopy, but he is also concerned about the Uterine TB.As the Doc 2 had stated that she cannot proceed with laproscopy as the uterine TB might spread.
He consults with TB specialists and decides to go ahead with the laproscopy, to clear all the doubts and get a proper biopsy sample as compared to the menstrual blood sample used by Doc 2(Menstrual Blood sample cannot check for Uterine Tb, uterine ET tissue is needed for that )
After my consent , he performs Laproscopy for checking ovaries, liasons etc.. he does Hysterosalpingography to check for tubes, Hysteroscopy for checking the general health of utero, takes the biopsy sample and then ends with a Dilatation & curettage.
See.. 45 mins of dedicated doctor can help a patient with a year long enigma.
End results prove all that Doc 2 declared absolutely wrong. My ovaries, tubes, utero , everything was fine..infact the DNA - auto TB PCR test done on the uterine ET tissue, made it quite clear that I had No TB....
NO TB...
Doc-3's statment post surgery - I am shocked..India is a world leader in advanced medical services..but you still allow such quacks to practice... she is the healthiest female i have seen .. she isnt infertile...
I felt as it I was absolved of all sins...and truly liberated...
I was quite clear after few post-op visits that only thing i now need to concentrate on DH's tests and timing the ovulations..The total time span when part 1 & 2 occured is 2 years..with only last abt 1.5 yrs & 3 months.
This is where i get out of the horror show and actually start on the road to pregnancy..Part 3 cover the next 3 years..back in India.
