Looking at your own life from a strangers perspective....is it all ppl do? who cares!!
i keep on doing this on and off...Offcourse abstract person like me can actually do such antics...
This time it gave me one of the "Ahhh..HA" momments (Yes i am taking this stephen covey stuff pretty seriously)
On my loong vacation i visited my native town 'Khandwa' where I had finished my basic schooling.
As i had narrated to hubby dear...everything is big, beautiful, different..blah blah...and all the sweet memories stuff...turned out to be really small...not that beautiful..:((((( but as my brain overflowed and leaked i realized 2 things.
1. I generally see things as larger than life (synaptic misfirings i guess)
2. As a kid it is so easy to accept things as they are.
I went to my school and also met one of my favourite teachers. She is a nun in our convent and has retired from teaching activities, and i rever her. At sweet 72 she is as cute as in my memory. I attribute my attitude and logical thinking (If any) to her. This justified the old adage "whatever happens is for good". Because
she was the only teacher who found faults in me and kept me correcting, punishing publically.(otherwise i never got caught believe me :))) This gave me courage to accept my faults in public or shall i say face embarassments with grace...in any way it helps carrying yourself....
Other than all this i throughly enjoyed my vacation...did loads of shopping.....and above all found a whole new person in my hubby...
he still surprises me...i love him...
Also did a lot of thinking...so will keep posting my intelligence leaks here :)))
Smile a curve to set things straight...
yes.. thats the best part of being a kid, things seem great just the way they are.. and grow up to realize everything topsy-turvy. :) if only a curve such as this gets things straightened, and an eraser to erase out the unwanted parts. Anyways, well written, and maam, get off that vacation mood now. This present cycle would soon be midway. :D
