After the Darkness -Tilly Bagshawe

After the Darkness -By Tilly Bagshawe
This is a book with all the elements of a Sidney Sheldon book except for the author..Whenever I start reading after a break..I love starting with a light book, a fantasy or a Sidney Sheldon..This book is not eligible for a complete review as it is a SS book...reading SS is like watching episode after episiode of Friends..pure fun no brains!!!Damsel in Distress who's clueless about the world...an ethereal beauty..suddenly finds herself betrayed by the world..lonesome...with no money, or no one to rely but her inner strength. All of sudden she can take on the whole world alone...she gets help from complete strangers..strenghthens herself physically...can kill at a whim...reaches the wrongdoers...and while law is parellely chasing the bad boys..she will outrun law to reach them...and just when she is about to finish up...a surprise revealation by the wrongdoer himself will stop her in tracks...and in the frenzy ..men of law will prevent her from committing the ultimate crime of her life. She will be pardoned and rewarded and goes on to turn a new chapter of her life...
I am yet to read a SS novel about men in distress.,...or a prince charming..The crux of an SS novel is in the last 50 pages..Thes rest of 200 pages are used for glorifying the heroines beauty and some romantic escapades or the luxurious / poor life heroine was leading before... almost all the heroines in SS novels have been raped once...got pregnant and did a self abortion...
For all these reasons i always thought that SS is a woman. Anyways it was like a chewing gum to kick start my reading spree ...On to Audacity of Hope - by BO..to me he is the new age Gandhi of America...lets see what he thinks..
