Part 4: Near the end..

Have I ever mentioned in this saga that my in-laws are also docs.. well one is general surgeon and another is physcian.they live quite far from our city..in another state.

Till this day we could not mention to them about the male factor issue as DH was not ready....but now it was high time... we decide to discuss with them... They advice us to visit one of their friends who's son is an RE from USA.- Doc 6..we contact him on email and out of family connections..he helps us.. he checks all the reports...and orders some tests for DH.. prescribes 3 months treatment on FSH injections for the him...and voila after 3 months all the counts return to normal.
He advices to time and try normally for 2 cycles and if nothing happen advices us to go directly for IVF. We agree.. nothing happens.. we pack our bags for few days and travel to his clinic all the way across the country for first IVF.
Egg stocks in ovaries --check
Sperm count- normal- check
Endometrium lining - check right
Sperm freezed before cycle?-- ooopss!!!
well so this cycle actually got cancelled post egg retrieval, as hubby dear got so stressed out that he could not provide the sperms.
I was devastated... i actually shouted at the DH in the hospital.. he was feeling bad.. nothing he tried worked..but while i was in anaesthetic stupor of egg retrieval I was shouting pls do not use a donor.

Another 2 month break and we are back on the Gonal-F- USG routine, Second cycle we took all precautions but If something has to go wrong it will go wrong.. the ET does not grow nicely. 3 A-grade implanted, the cycle fails.
I am tired of all the running..totally exhausted ...and I say this to Doc-6 he advices to go back to Doc-5 which is local to us and try trust her. We do that and after much monitoring, analyzing for 2 months doc-5 says ET is not coming up good... I am so depressed that... I cry and I beg her to go ahead and do atleast one cycle, we do everything the ET lining isnt coming up good.. she says upto 9 mm ...it doesnt go beyond 7 mm..

While i am also discussing this in parallel with doc-6, he says 7 mm is ok go ahead with cycle... 7 eggs are retrieved, and the sperms counts are again low but we have freezed them ahead of time twice, so things look ok..
This is the most relaxed cycle.. I am not stressed at all..But Somehow i have no hope, I am totally convined that this may not be it...We go ahead.. 3 A- grades and 1 B- grade.. total 4 in all are transferred.. I know I know... Legal limit is max 3 transfers in each cycle in India.. but the Doc-5 decided for the 4th one at the last moment.
I go home take a weeks rest and start work.. on Day 32th of cycle..the day i am supposed to go for blood work... i am too tempted and try a HPT in office loo.. it shows a light pink line..i am convinced that this may not be it...but god has another plans...

Second HCG day 22 post ET 728
Third HCG day 29 post ET 6950....
May 5 we see a single sac.....Finally I am Pregnant!!
