Life as it is..

Life as it is..full of surprises...
And this time i was really surprised...for two reasons...first I got an AWARD...yes i will give you a moment to applaud...... taaaliyaaan....other was the aftershocks....First thing being a selfless prani (being) I am, I did not ask or shout to get this award...or being appluaded in a org level event....i got it thanks to some (not) thinking brains in my company...and i got some behavioral after-awards (read - smirks, glances, stares, false congrats) from some more (not so) thinking brains.

Well leaving this khichadi of words...the crux is I got it and people dont like it...I am not trying to bask in the glory and belittle others...but i do not understand why people are jealous....
Is it really big??? I dont think so...I am not sure why i got it...I even offered to return it to HR...but they asked me to keep the award and can refuse the money attached to it...which i already did...
This got me thinking People have totally forgotten to share joys...what have become of us....what does it take to smile and be happy for others??? Well since compassion is replaced by jealousy and ego...this is where we are going to...

or ships with no anchors..
no value's to moor...
wandering aimlessly...
with waves which guide...
